*(Baba is punishing Aduke, who is on her knees)*

*Aduke*:- (Crying) I am sorry Baba. I won't do so again.

*Baba*:- Shut up. Useless girl. Are you a goat🐂? Why must you make the same mistake over and over?

*Aduke*:- I am finished ooo! Baba please...

*Baba*:- Idiot. Hold your tongue.

(Susan walks🚶‍♀ in)

*Susan*:- Good day Baba.

*Baba*:- Welcome o jare Susan. How are you?

*Susan*:- I'm fine Sir. And you?

*Baba*:- I'm fine o. Its only this stupid girl that wants to kill me.

*Susan*:- What has she done again Sir?

*Baba*:- Can you imagine? I sent her to buy a tin of milk for me, and she did not check the expiry date. By the time I did, it was expired. Just last month, she bought a tube of toothpaste for me, and it was also expired. Useless child...

(He wants to flog her again, but Susan restrains him.)

*Susan*:- Its alright Sir. Please forgive her. I will buy another for you.

*Baba*:- Ah, thank you jare my daughter. Omo daadaa.

*Susan*:- Please sit down awhile Sir. I have something very interesting to tell you.

*Baba*:- Is that so?

(He takes his seat.)

*Susan*:- Please permit me to release her Sir. I want her to listen too.

*Baba*:- Stand up, idiot. As stubborn as a goat.

*Aduke*:- (Wiping her tears) Thank you Aunty.

*Susan*:- Sir, I have been telling you to stop calling this girl names like idiot, stupid, goat and such.

You are an authority figure in her life, so there is great authority in your words. Any word you speak to her, is empowered to come to pass in her life. Its whatever you call her that she'll become.

*Baba*:- Is that so?

*Susan*:- Yes Baba. As you call her stupid, idiot etc, the more she will act so.

*Baba*:- Ah! then I must stop it o.

*Susan*:- Good. now on the issue of *EXPIRY DATE*, Baba do you know that its not only products that have expiry dates? We human beings too have expiry dates. But it is rather unfortunate that though we take great pains to check the expiry dates of products that we buy, we do not bother to ponder on the issue of our own expiry date.

Baba:- (Shocked) Oti o. How do you mean?

*Susan*:- Sir, every product made by a manufacturer has two dates: a Manufacturing date and an Expiry date. The Manufacturing date is the day it was produced or made, while the Expiry date is the day it will go bad or seize to be useable.

Likewise we human beings. Our Manufacturer is God Almighty Himself. Our Manufacturing date is the date we were born. While our Expiry date is the day we will die.

*Baba*:- Hmmmmn! Very interesting. Go on.

*Susan*:- It is only the Manufacturing date that we know. That is the birth date we celebrate yearly. But no one knows his/her Expiry date. It is only known to our Manufacturer, God Almighty.

The only thing we can do is to prepare for it. The Bible says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement" *(Heb. 9:27).*

Once you expire or die, the next thing is to face judgment for the way you've lived your life on earth. And after the judgment, there are only two destinations: Heaven or Hell. Depending on how you lived while on earth.

*Baba*:- Haaaa! This is serious. So I will expire one day?

*Susan*:- Yes Baba.

*Baba*:- And I will face judgment?

Susan:- Exactly Baba.

*Baba*:- Hmmmmn! So how can I prepare for this expiry date?

*Susan*:- Baba, the only way is to give your life to Jesus Christ. To accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. It is written, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life" *(John 3:16)*.

To have everlasting life is to go to Heaven.

*Baba*:- Is that so?

*Susan*:- The Bible also says, "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" *(Rev. 20:15)*

That  is hell fire Baba. It is a lake of fire that burns with sulphur and brimstone.

*Baba*:- Ka ma ri! Ah, I dont want that one o.

*Susan*:- The advantage of giving your life to Christ is that he will also satisfy you with long life, which means you will live to a ripe old age.

*Baba*:- Woo, Susan that is enough. I am ready to give my life to Jesus now.

*Aduke*:- Me too Aunty.

*Baba*:-What do we do now?

*Susan*:- Very simple Baba. Both of you will kneel down before the Lord and say after me: Lord Jesus...

(They kneel down and repeat after her)

I come to you. I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me all my sins. I repent of them. I renounce them. Write my name in the book of life. Wash me with the Blood You shed for me on the Cross of Calvary. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name I pray.

*Baba and Aduke*:- Amen.

*Susan*:- I congratulate both of you.

*Baba*:- Aaaah, I have so much joy in my heart. Is that all?

*Susan*:- Baba, that is all. You must now begin to attend a Bible believing and teaching Church where you will be fed with the Word of God so that you can grow.

*Baba*:- Ah, thank you my daughter. Wa se orire.

Let us go out and tell people👨🏻‍🌾👨🏽‍🎨👨‍⚖🧚‍♂🤵 about 🎄 Christ 👑 this season🎅🤶🎅 and it shall be well with us in Jesus name, 🙏.

TEXT: PROVERB 4:7-9

Wisdom is the quality of being wise.

In other word, Wisdom is a body of knowledge and experience.

In the Bible, wisdom is a quality or attribute of God. Who created the world (Prov. 8:22-31).

In Exo. 36:8 wisdom is the intellectual gift or the ability like satisfied (Prov. 1:15-12)

Let’s talk about some of these in the books of proverb 4:7-9. It says wisdom is the principal things therefore got wisdom and in all your getting got understanding. Wisdom is the most important things in our life. When will take look of the whole scripture it’s talks about the command of God that we should obey but in this case the chapter of the Bible says the most important things to have is wisdom and by getting it seek for understanding as well. You see that these two things work together wisdom and understanding.

In Prov. 7:4 wisdom is often personified as a woman or a sister. When you say woman or sister we will as well talk of productivity or production that means, wisdom do produce as well.

In verse 8, you see in this verse it talks about how you are going to do with wisdom been identified as female that come with productivity. It says, exalt wisdom and you shall see the hand work and it product.

What are the handiwork and it product.

Wisdom promotes moving you forward in life. Taking your from one level to another higher level in life.

Wisdom brings honour just as we read in Psalm 24 that he prepared a table before you in the presence of our enemy. See, where you are not worth to be honoured wisdom will brings you honour.

Wisdom brings grace: The grace of God eradicate or overlook faults.

Wisdom deliver crown of glory: even when you die you will be rapture at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The crown of glory is awaiting you in heaven.

You can’t live only in wisdom, but also seek for understanding to make your wisdom work effectively and bring you their product. Just like Solomon the King of Israel did in his time.

Wisdom is not acquire by God, but by men, Angel another created being, and there are prove that make us understand that wisdom has being in existence before the creation, because without the wisdom the creation may not be possible.

God’s creation of old Prov. 8:22

The creation of the Earth Prov. 8:23

The depth and the fountain of water Prov. 8:24

The mountain and hill Prov. 8:25

The Earth, filled and dust of the world Prov. 8:26

The Heaven and the cloud Prov. 8:28

The law governing creation Prov. 8:29

These are the seven prove that shows that the wisdom the principle things in life as being in existence even before the creation, because God himself is the carrier of all wisdom. Wisdom dwell in Him, and He was enthrone in understanding.

Before you can live a successful life you need the wisdom and understanding of God in Christ Jesus the savior of all. Prov. 8:30-31.

You need to have the fear of God in your life for wisdom and understanding to work effectively for you in Prov. 9:10 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom and the knowledge of the holy understands. By doing these there are rewards that follow.

Understanding the fear of God

Finding the knowledge of God

Receiving the wisdom of God

Receiving the knowledge of God

Receiving the protecting of God

Having security in God

Having preservation of life

Receiving the true understanding in righteousness, judgment, equity and every good part.

Receiving the dis-creation that preserve.

Understanding that keeps Prov. 2:5-9

TONGUE

This is the smallest part in the body, a muscular organ in the mouth used in tasting and speech, controlling word; we also use it to pronouns statement.

We use tongue to speak, this same tongue was what God used in creation, prophet and prophetess used it in the Old Testament and the new to tell us the mind of Christ and God the creator.

The life you live and the life you will live depend on your tongues pronunciation. What came out of your mouth shows the life you live. Your live is been control by your tongue, what you say to yourself and what you call yourself is what you are.

In the book of James 3:6 bible says “And the tongue is a fire, a world of hiquity, the tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and set on fire the curse of nature, and it set on fire the curse of nature, and it set on fire by hell.

Our tongue is the joy of our life if only you used it wisely in the way of the Lord, the tongue can hill and it can also put to life, it can safe and can also put the whole body to death in you need to do is to ran away from, I will surmising, falsehoods, jealousies, envying wrath and malice.

Control your tonguing don’t let your tongue control. If you want to live a successful future. You need t control your tongue. Control your anger, watch before you laid to other and mostly to yourself. Because the greatest enemy you ever have in life is you yourself, why, because if you are trying to satisfy your selfishness and lost the things of this world you’re destroying your future gradually. Not only what you said to yourself alone or to your fellow men. But what you said to your children that will represent you when you die matters a lot, because there are your tomorrows.

If you can control your tongue, you can control your life and your world and your future. James 3:2.

Tongue is one thing that we should be afraid of because it can kill the body and also push to hell, so fear the tongue. Luke 12:5 use your tongue is just like holding a sword two edges sword. Whenever you directed the sword to, it will go and work. Whenever you ask your tongue to do for you it will do, so please said a good thing to yourself, step saying any negative word to yourself or to your children, because you have authority of God in your tongue even when you are passing through any difficulties, always know that you have the power to change any situation that comes your way.

Change what you don’t like in you and proclaim to yourself what you need in line with the will of God towards you.

Your tongue is like swords don’t use to harm yourself or others. and you’ll have a bright future and your tomorrow will be great.

Also try to do this, choose your friend don’t let your friends choose you; know the kind of people you walk with, people you call your friend can save and destroy your future.

           WAITING FOR GOD

Sometimes, when it seems we are waiting for God; it is actually God that is waiting for us.

On the cross of Calvary, Jesus cried the cry of David, saying: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). By this cry, God became our brother in adversity. Man in Christ cried out to God in frustration and disappointment. God in Christ became our advocate, validating the gospel truth that in our affliction, God is afflicted. (Isaiah 63:9).

But let there be no mistake about it; God would never forsake his children. He says: “Zion said, ‘The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.’ Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.” (Isaiah 49:14-16).

When it seems God has forsaken or forgotten us, all he is saying is: “Wait!” “‘Therefore wait for me,’ says the Lord.’” (Zephaniah 3:8).

Blessings for waiters

Jeremiah says: “The LORD is good to those who wait for him.” (Lamentations 3:25). We need to know how and why. Isaiah agrees with Jeremiah. He says: “The Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.” (Isaiah 30:18).

All the women in the scriptures who had to wait for God in order to have children ended with special and outstanding children. Sarah had to wait until she was past childbearing age, but she ended up with Isaac (laughter). Rebecca was barren, but she ended up with twins: Esau and Jacob. Hannah was barren, but she ended up with Samuel. Elizabeth was barren but she ended up with John the Baptist.

Clearly, blessings and pleasant surprises await those who wait for God: “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides you, who acts for the one who waits for him.” (Isaiah 64:4).

Waiting for the Lord requires that we pay close attention to the Lord. It means we are constantly on the lookout for God. As a result, when we wait for God, we receive the blessing of seeing him at work. This arises from intimacy with the Lord. We are able to see how he builds us up with his word: “Precept, precept upon precept; line upon line; here a little, and there a little.” (Isaiah 28:9). When we wait, we grow in grace and in the knowledge of God. (2 Peter 3:18).

Impatient Moses

Moses knew the call of God was on his life. However, he was impatient, therefore he decided to take matters into his own hands. When he saw an Egyptian beating up a Hebrew, he killed the Egyptian and buried him in the sand. But the next day, he realized that his secret was public knowledge, therefore he ran away from Egypt. He then had to spend the next 40 years in the wilderness with God.

When God finally called him to rescue the Israelites from Egypt, Moses had lost all belief in himself. He told God to send someone else. His feeling of inadequacy was eloquent testimony that he was finally ready to be used by God. Jesus says: “My strength is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

In effect, those 40 years of waiting were useful and instructive for Moses. They enabled him to understand that the ways of God are not the ways of man. They enabled him to learn the ways of God from God himself. As a result, the psalmist testifies that: “(God) made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the children of Israel.” (Psalm 103:7). Because he had to wait for God, Moses received what Israel lacked: the knowledge of God.

Perfecting the saints

The psalmist says with confidence: “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.” (Psalm 138:8). Because the ways of the Lord are perfect, he sometimes says: “Wait!” God sometimes tells us to wait when we are still conformed to the world and are yet to be transformed by the renewing of our mind. The purpose that is purposed is that we may prove not only what is good and acceptable to God, but what is the perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2).

Accordingly, God tells us to wait: “Therefore the Lord will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you.” (Isaiah 30:18). What this means is that sometimes, when it seems we are waiting for God; it is actually God that is waiting for us. He is waiting for us to grow. He is waiting to be exalted in our hearts and minds.

Isaiah says: “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.” (Isaiah 6:1). Others had seen the Lord but in the case of Isaiah, God waited for King Uzziah to die. As long as Uzziah was alive, the Lord could not be exalted in the heart and mind of Isaiah.

King Uzziah was a mountain impeding Isaiah’s vision. But before the glory of the Lord can be revealed: “Every valley must be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low.” (Isaiah 40:4). Therefore, when we are waiting for the Lord, we need to speak to our mountains: “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!” (Zechariah 4:7).

Isaac or Ishmael

When we are not inclined to wait, we are likely to mistake Ishmael for Isaac. Tired of waiting for God to give him Isaac, his promised son; Abraham slept with his house girl and she gave birth to Ishmael. He then hoped his Ishmael was God’s Isaac.

This turned out to be a big blunder. Ishmael cannot possibly be Isaac. If it is Isaac, then it would be supernatural and not come by natural birth. If it is Isaac, it would be convoluted and not straightforward. If it is Isaac, it will be by God’s timing and not by man’s timing. Therefore, wait for Isaac.

A 3-year-old girl asked her father for a jerry-can of petrol. The father said: “Wait!” On her 21st birthday, he finally gave her the jerry-can of petrol. “Why did you give me this?” she asked. “You asked for it when you were three,” the father replied.

Sometimes, God keeps us waiting because he wants to ensure that the situation is hopeless. Sarah was barren; but there was hope because Abraham was not. That hope in Abraham led to Ishmael. Therefore, God waited until all hope in Abraham was lost. Then he brought forth Isaac. Isaac only comes from: “he who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” (Ephesians 3:20).

Similarly, when Lazarus fell sick and died, Jesus kept his sisters waiting in order to give them a more perfect knowledge of who he is. Then he said: “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.” (John 11:25-26).

BIBLE STUDY

Topic:  Salvation

Salvation is one of the lead concepts of God’s revelation to humanity.

The Three Motions Biblical Ideas Inventing In Salvation

Is the rescue from dangers, harm, or even death of an individual, group or nation. Most specifically, salvation is the rescue from sin and death. James 5:20.

Is the renewing of the spirit. Scripture explains that humanity fell from the original condition of moral purity into the state of sin. God’s salvation always renews the spirit of a person to lead a life that is morally pleasing to Him. Romans 8:2

Is the restoration of a right relationship with God. One of the effects of sin is separation from God. The written word of God makes clear that salvation restores one’s relationship with God, Roman 5:10 says “ for if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of its son”.

In both the new and old testament of the bible, God’s salvation includes rescue, renewal and restoration and is accomplished through the person and work of His son, our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I want you to know that no Jesus Christ, no salvation and without salvation no external life.

NOW WHAT DO YOU UNDERSTAND IT TAKE FOR A PERSON TO MAKE IT TO HEAVEN

Consider How Bible Answer This Question, It Is a Matter Of Faith

F: Stand for forgiveness

We cannot have eternal life and heaven without God’s forgiveness. Ephesians 1:7a.

A: Stand for Available

Forgiveness is Available

It is impossible for God to allow sin in heaven.

I: Stand for Impossible

It is impossible for God to allow sin in heaven

Because of who He is: God is loving and just. His judgment is against sin. James 2:13a

Because of who we are: Every person is a sinner. Romans 3:23

But how can a sinful person enter heaven, when God allows no sin?

T: Stand for Turn

Turn mean repent

Turn from something – sin and self Luke 13:3b

Turn to someone; trust Christ only. Romans 10:9

H: Stand for Heaven

Heaven is eternal life

Here  John 10:10b

Hereafter John 14:3

Now, how can a person have God’s forgiveness, heaven and eternal life and Jesus as personal savior and Lord?

By trusting in Christ and asking Him for forgiveness

Take the step of faith described by another meaning of Faith: Forsaking All I Trust Him

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have displeases you in many ways. I believe you died for my sin and only through faith in your death and resurrection can I be forgiven.

I want to turn from my sin and ask you to come into my life as my savior and lord from this day on. I will follow you by living a life that pleases you. Thank you, Lord Jesus for saving me. Amen!
